Black Dragon Scale Mail
Armor made of the Black Dragon Scales. Sometimes Dragons collect their cast-off scales and gift them to humanoids. Other times, hunters carefully skin and preserve the hide of a dead dragon. A high-quality set is found in the hoard of Voaraghamanthar in the Mere of Dead Men.

Staff of Frost
A magical staff that could cast a number of spells related to ice and cold. Made of a large piece of ice tapered like an Icicle, this rune-covered staff has great power and can be found in the Ruins of the Umbral Tower near Raven Rock at the Spine of the World. Long abandoned by its original occupant, the tower features a malfunctioning gate that connects this place and the Plane of Shadow. The site serves as a base for a group of Fey Shadowhunters and their entourage of hounds and guardians.

Dagger of Venom
A black dagger with serrated edge. If viewed by one able to detect magic, it glows with a faint necromantic aura. Last known location was Hellgate keep. Hellgate keep – a name that once made the boldest of heroes shudder in fear – was long ago known as the fair citadel of Ascalhorn, a haven for elves and humans. The the demonic horde of Tanarukk and Glabrezu destroyed all remnants of real civilization and turned it into a den of malevolence. Now the citadel lies ruined.

Shard of the Ise Rune
A dagger shard of ice is long and slender. The ise rune glows within it, allowing its user the ability to control water and ice. Search in the haunted Citadel of Falisaere, to seek the scattered remnants of the Shard of the Ise Rune.

Staff of Power
A staff that is a very potent magic item, with offensive and defensive abilities. It is usually topped with a glistening gem, its shaft straight and smooth. The evil sorcerer Gromph Baenre in the Underdark city of Menzoberranzan, was the last known owner.

Wand of Paralysis
This very rare wood creates a wand of strange power, most highly prized by wizards. Near the Town of Sisak, residents say that an evil wizard named Thaddigren Dentiata has this wand locked away in his tower. They also say he uses it to capture residents for his experiments.

Ring of Air Elemental Command
A ring that at first appears to be nothing more than a lesser magic ring until fully activated. The wearer of the ring is able to converse with creatures from the plane to which his ring is attuned. Ancient Green Dragon, Elaacrimalicros, on the Star Mounts, has obtained such a ring after destroying the Aaracokra in the Storm Horns.

Wand of Orcus
A wand made from the Tree-Gem of Bloodstone. The Tree-Gem of Bloodstone was a 30 foot tall white tree with golden leaves growing in the courtyard of Palace Dragonsbane in Bloodstone Village. Warlock Knights protect the wand with demonic helpers.

Staff of Defense
The staff is slender and hollow and made entirely of glass, yet it is as strong as oak. It is protected by a minotaur in the Jungle of Chult. This Jungle is located at the westernmost end of the Chultan peninsula, in the southern part of the Trackless Sea, off the coast of Calimshan.

Cloak of Arachnida
This black cloak, embroidered with a weblike pattern in silk, was lost in the Under dark for hundreds of years. Until discovered by a legion of Nycaloth, it is now keep in the Demon Queen’s Enclave.

Lost Crown of Besilmer
A dwarven battle-helm consists of a sturdy open-faced steel helmet, decorated with a golden circlet above the brow from which several small gold spikes project upward. Besilmer was a dwarven realm in the hills of the valley of the River Dessarin. Its sign was a wheel over a plow. Although the realm did not survive as of 1368 DR, two of its buildings did: the Stone Bridge and the Halls of the Hunting Axe.

Ring of Free Action
In the Misty Forest located just west of the High Moor, just south of the river Delimbiyr, the Lair of the Dragon Mornauguth can be found. She holds this magical ring close and will not easily give it up. Plucking it and other treasures from the grasp of a jealous dragon or stealing it from the center of the subterranean lair will not be easy.

Dawnbringer
Lost for ages in the Underdark, this sword appears to be a gilded longsword hilt. While grasping the hilt, you can make a blade of pure radiance spring from the hilt, or cause the blade to disappear. Lolth, known as the Queen of Spiders or the Queen of the Demonweb Pits, was the last known to possess the sword.

Horn of Blasting
This finely wrought horn appears to be a normal trumpet. It can be sounded as a normal horn, but if the command word is spoken and the instrument is then played to create a powerful sonic blast, stunning enemies and summoning Lostmauth at the same time. Last known location was the island of Tuern in the Frozenfar in the Trackless Sea, far to the west of Faerûn.

Instrument of the bards
A harp superior to an ordinary instrument in every way, this hard is slender and graceful of design, small and light enough to be played in one’s lap. It was carved of teak wood engraved with designs of waves and fog, with silver wire for strings. Last known location was on the Moonshae Isle named Alaron.

Vorpal Sword
The ruler, the dearly loved Badr al-Mosak, was killed in the battle for the capital city of Khaibar. In his Crypt, legends say he left behind one of the greatest treasure stores ever amassed – jewels and coins, more than anyone had ever seen before or since – and in addition, a sword so sharp that when used against a creature it can cut off one of the creature’s heads in a single blow.

Tentacle Rod
This rod has a head of warm, rubbery tentacles, and it functions as a magic mace. Years ago, brave heroes put the denizens of the Temple of Elemental Evil to the sword. Dark forces whisper again in the shadows of the once-deserted temple – forces far more insidious and dangerous now protect the rod.

Armor of Invulnerability
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. This suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body. Fire giant king Snurre Ironbelly was the last known owner, and he reigns over his impenetrable stronghold.

Spellguard Shield
The shield is made from wood and metal and is carried in one hand. Found in the depths of Fort Morninglord, a long forgotten ruin. The fort is contaminated by evil. Everyone that has survived an encounter there have never been the same.

Ring of Regeneration
Located at the edge of all that is known, it appears to change where it is located, and sometimes not be there at all. No one is certain when it will come back, or where, but they know they want to be there when it reappears. They want what it can bring them, regardless of the danger.
